ROLE:

The Senior Manager - Strategic Partnerships will report to the VP of Strategic Partnerships and will be responsible for driving key account relationships with partners and supporting end-to-end execution activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be the point of contact for key partners and support all account related activities
  • Drive sales of Pro products and manage invoicing, accounting and reporting requirements
  • Address queries by senior decision makers and work with internal teams like Finance, Product, Accounting, Brand Solutions, etc.
  • Drive new ideas to completion with an end-to-end ownership, focus on results and manage projects efficiently and effectively
  • Respond to inbound queries from new prospective partners
  • Write, develop, adapt and present partnership proposals and presentations
  • Present and negotiate deal-terms to senior decision makers
  • Stay on top of the trends in a rapidly changing media market and clients’ industries
  • Develop and maintain client relationships
  • Forecast revenue objectives through proper account management
  • Keep senior management informed on all issues and performance against planned goals
  • Use both qualitative and quantitative research to support benefits of brands associating with Saavn
  • Prospect, cold call, network, and research new customers and potential clients

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree/MBA preferred or equivalent in work experience
  • Minimum of 4-6 years experience in business development, key account management or similar sales oriented roles with a track record of successfully managing client relations
  • Strong focus on project management and execution
  • Fluency in solution selling, pricing, inventory control, brand building, etc.
  • Demonstrate ability and willingness to prospect, cold call, negotiate, and close deals
  • Knowledge of e-commerce, digital goods and services and current online advertising trends
  • Ability to work effectively both as an individual and in a team environment
  • Passionate about building high-quality and highly usable products
  • Strong analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills and abilities
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented
  • Demonstrate exceptional presentation skills
  • Maintain a strong professional presence
  • Passion, humility, integrity, positive attitude, mission-driven, and self-directed
  • Interest in the Indian music and film industry is a major plus
