  • Work in consultation with the company founders, executive leadership, and functional teams to drive company-wide alignment on the company mission, vision, strategic priorities, goals, and key performance indicators
  • Lead data driven initiatives within the Strategy and Operations team at Saavn to drive business productivity and efficiency
  • Define, lead and facilitate Saavn’s annual and quarterly strategic planning process across Product, Engineering, Data, and Finance teams, ensuring that company wide decisions are being made using a data centric approach
  • Analyze data from millions of customers across the globe to develop complex predictive data models that are able to associate probabilities of success and failure to future decisions with high levels of confidence
  • Use programming knowledge to determine the feasibility, timeline, and resource impacts of decisions that require engineering development work
  • Influence teams to design customer experiences that utilize data and research insights resulting in an increase in user engagement, retention, and subscription
  • Empower company founders, executive leadership and functional teams with robust research and analysis to make informed decisions
  • Leverage global experience to develop detailed go-to market strategies for Saavn with a focus on emerging markets such as India, Middle East, and Africa, as well as in developed markets such as the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada
  • Manage key technology strategy projects consisting of team members from Engineering, Product, Data, Research, Finance, and Marketing teams
  • Perform analyses, on both market and proprietary data, to gather business insights and make recommendations to leadership on business and product strategy
  • Conduct research, data gathering, analysis, and preparation of reports to make strategic recommendations to various departments including marketing, sales, technology, and operations
  • Maintain communication with key stakeholders, sharing risks of strategy implementation and project status updates
  • Identify growth opportunities within performance data, recommending improvements to operational strategies


  • Management degree from an institute of high repute
  • 4-5 years of experience
  • Experience in working and leading a strategic team
  • Should have worked in a dynamic environment that involves making strategic decisions
  • Excellent strategic stakeholder management skills
