ROLE:

JioSaavn is looking for a Director - Quality Assurance, to own and lead all aspects of Quality of Jio-Saavn products. You will lead a team with singular focus of promoting a quality mindset across all products. The job includes heading a team responsible for developing an automation bench which would validate APIs, Software Systems, product performance(memory, battery, cpu etc.) and more. You will work very closely with the engineering and product teams to come up with QA requirements and procedures. You will also be responsible to build processes for managing these teams and help scale the team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develops, implements, and manages processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery
• Build test frameworks and set up test infrastructure
• Optimize processes for speed, reliability, scalability, and automation wherever possible
• Identifies and sets appropriate quality standards and parameters for products
• Communicates quality standards and parameters to the QA team, product development team, and other teams
• Identify and implement new opportunities for improvement of testing strategies
• Preparing QA SOPs, procedural documents, and reviewing test-related documents

REQUIREMENTS:

• 9-15 years of experience in Quality Assurance
• Experience in handling a team of 10+ team members
• Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards
• Thorough knowledge of the automation process with experience in automation framework development of API, Web, and Android/iOS
• Must be fluent in coding with programming languages like Java/Python/C++
• Outstanding communication skills with great attention to detail and a results-driven approach
• Bachelors degree in Engineering, or field related to the products being developed require
