JioSaavn is seeking a Senior Associate Analyst to join our team of talented Advertising professionals. We are seeking a talented and passionate analyst to help drive innovation in performance optimization. Reporting to the Director/Associate Manager – Campaign Strategy, the Analyst will interface with different internal teams to leverage syndicated research tools, analytical insights, data skills and algorithms built, to find the direct impact on revenue and platform. This person should have a passion for using research and analytics to develop actionable insights.


Reporting & Analysis:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for all phases of business analytics work that includes, but is not limited to, RFP volume and close rate analysis, historical account spending, marketplace tempo and research to drive timely decision making
  • Conduct regular business reviews with key sales stakeholders to help the team focus on incremental revenue opportunity
  • Assist in preparation of annual/quarterly/monthly revenue targets and specific account planning by vertical, region, advertiser and agency
  • Manage ongoing delivery of weekly/monthly reporting dashboards; iteratively improve and automate these deliverables
  • Assist the management team with quarterly board meetings regarding updates of advertising goals, new tools, initiatives, etc.
  • Develop ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed, while keeping attention to details

Strategic Thinking:

  • Aid in the creation of marketing collateral (including all recurring advertising reports) for various teams within the advertising department
  • Ability to synthesize information and research data to "tell a story" with action- oriented implications
  • Explore and analyze market and past trends and determine their impact on future performance


  • Contribute towards greater ad platform strategic & research initiatives
  • Conduct quantitative survey analysis and provide valuable insights from data sources including usage logs, analytics platforms, ad delivery reports and 3rd party research
  • Stay up-to-date with media, technology and competitive publisher trends and digital advertising evolutions


  • Bachelor’s Degree in math, economics, statistics or related quantitative field
  • 1-2 years of experience in an analytical role in a digital media environment
  • Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint/Keynote
  • Solid research, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manipulate large, complex data sets using a variety of software applications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced high-pressure environment without sacrificing accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to work independently, yet take direction well when necessary
  • Thorough understanding of digital advertising metrics
