Associate - Campaign Strategy

We are seeking a Campaign Strategy Associate to join our team of talented Advertising professionals.

Reporting to the Senior Manager Campaign Strategy, you will play a key role in the success of the Ad Platform group, collaborating both internally and externally. This role will be responsible for developing, shaping and analyzing campaign strategies to drive business growth. You will also manage in-app advertising programs and custom advertising implementations, ultimately ensuring that all ad properties are up to industry and users standard.

This opportunity will allow you to apply your advertising expertise to identify and implement new solutions within Saavn’s ad serving technology.


  • Conceptualize creative strategies and pro-actively provide ideas - act as a strategic partner to the business
  • Liaison with other teams such as Editorial, Marketing, Product, Audio, etc., to identify target audiences and develop various topical, content or product related ad campaigns
  • Establish KPIs, track performance/success, measure and analyze campaigns performance. Assess campaign effectiveness by product, ad property, source, target audience, etc.
  • Brainstorm new and creative ad strategies, and execute on those strategies in conjunction with other team members and partners
  • Understand research design and conduct brand research and provide analysis and reporting as necessary, to ensure actionable insights
  • Combine data analytics, campaign results and client feedback to configure, operate, and optimize campaigns to meet client objectives
  • Innovate/update on existing sales support material
  • Respond to and resolve client inquiries ensuring timely resolution and follow-up


  • Minimum 1 - 2 years of advertising media,  marketing or sales experience
  • Deep understanding of how agencies plan, buy, and measure performance of Digital, TV, Radio and Programmatic advertising campaigns 

  • Creative, “out of the box”, thinker with strong analytical, decision-making, and problem solving skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint/Keynote
  • Excellent communications skills including ability to communicate clearly, professionally, both verbally and written
  • Excellent listening skills, inquisitive, positive, team-oriented, enthusiastic approach
  • Team player, with a willingness to jump in to assist team when needed
  • Ability to work independently as well as being a team player
  • Interest in the global music and film industries is a major plus
  • Excellent communications skills including ability to communicate clearly, professionally, both verbally and written, and at a level suitable for a variety of audiences
  • Excellent listening skills, inquisitive, positive, team-oriented, enthusiastic approach
