JioSaavn is seeking an energetic and creative professional to lead our Social, Community & Content initiatives from strategy to execution. In this role, you will build, grow and engage our community of music fans and artists across priority markets through original content on our website, music blog, OnRecord and our key social channels.
As our very first Editor-in-Chief of OnRecord, you will be responsible for transforming the blog it into a reputable and high quality digital magazine that is seen as the leading destination among music fans and artists. You will be building and leading a talented team that helps optimize and execute on our editorial, content production and distribution strategy and processes. You will also be setting the strategic vision for our social channel strategy and overseeing the social media team to develop and execute out-of-the-box content solutions for social media campaigns.
Under your leadership, your teams will ultimately help raise awareness of JioSaavn across various digital channels that will lead to increased site traffic, social following that convert loyal users. As such, you’ll create content that is universally original, authentic, informative and SEO friendly. As a senior leader and strategic thinker, you will collaborate with PR, digital, consumer and creator marketing teams as well across departments including original content, programming and revenue teams to inform overall content strategy, content creation and successful content integration across key user touch points. This role ensures that all forms of content aligns with brand strategy and creative aesthetic. It requires a strong understanding of the digital and social media landscape as key place for brand storytelling to enhance the consumer experience and drive conversion.
The ideal candidate should be a self-starter, solutions oriented, forward thinking, highly organized with an editorial POV. You should have the ability to see the big picture while simultaneously being able to execute on a tactical level.
