The Platform team connects consumers and producers by facilitating their interactions through Saavn’s Platform. It reduces operational costs and frictions while enabling externalized innovation by third-party producers. A strong platform facilitates the organization to cultivate an ecosystem of creators, developers, partners, users, and other collaborators who contribute to, and drive, innovation to add value to the organization’s bottom line. The team controls how the organization interacts operationally within intra and inter entities and teams (Saavn & non-Saavn). They define and develop the organizational roadmap in collaboration with key stakeholders.
This role directly reports to the Senior Manager, Platform.


  • Develop innovative growth hacks to drive user growth and engagement on online and offline properties via all channels and marketing programs.
  • Understand the various components and drivers of growth, along with trends (such as traffic, conversion, user engagement, and repeat behavior) and create actionable programs leading to user growth
  • Develop innovative growth hacks to drive user growth and engagement via all channels and marketing programs
  • Drive new user acquisition and growth for JioSaavn, by leveraging the strengths of Jio ecosystem
  • Understand JioSaavn's product roadmap, new features or integrations, editorial calendar, and prepare a marketing calendar for JioSaavn to be executed across all Jio platforms (app, web, stores)  
  • Manage cross-functional growth projects by working closely with product and functional teams to run experiments and roll out features on an ongoing basis
  • Work with multiple teams like editorial, copy, audio, design, product & data to develop and test new creative concepts designed to increase the efficiency of our marketing
  • Track and assess the impact of the campaigns, update campaign reports, provide insights based on campaign performance
  • Work with Jio marketing teams to learn the best practices and successful marketing experiments, that can be adopted by JioSaavn
  • Extract increasing efficiencies and continuously improving outcomes from existing partners.
  • Track and analyze performance of various other partnership initiatives, and present data-driven learnings and recommendations


  • 2-4 years of experience in an analytical, results-oriented environment with external customer interaction.
  • Analytical and data driven approach
  • Proven ability to manage the business “by the numbers”. Must be metrics-driven.
  • Experience with e-commerce, digital advertising, or media would be an advantage.
  • Hands on experience of using any platforms like GA, Fb Ad manager, any of the analytics platforms like Appsflyer, Mixpanel and at least one of the customer engagement tools like WebEngage, MoEngage, CleverTap etc.
  • Passion and deep understanding of the technology, media and entertainment spaces.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide project/product management and guidance to internal teams and
    business partners.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members, product managers, engineers and
    senior leadership.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Successful history of teamwork and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
  • Genuine, ambitious, open-minded, great conversationalist, positive attitude, and fun to be around.
