ABOUT THE TEAM:

The Consumer Pay business is a newly formed business within JioSaavn. This is a high impact position in one of the world’s largest music streaming services and will play a key role in acquiring and retaining paid users for our India and international markets. While this role mainly focuses on leveraging on-platform channels (notifications, banners, SMS, emails, etc), there will be some paid marketing (programmatic, social) as well. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with a diverse set of teams like business operations, content, product, marketing, finance, etc.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understand the consumer lifecycle based on product usage and build acquisition and engagement programs on platform (JioSaavn free userbase, Jio ecosytem) and off-platform (programmatic, social)
  • Run experiments and programs to convert free JioSaavn users into paid user base
  • Leverage channels like push notifications, audio ads, emails, SMS and occasionally programmatic and social to drive paid user acquisition
  • Understand and leverage the Jio ecosystem to identify multiple touchpoints for acquiring paid users
  • Drive marketing programs which are highly targeted towards consumer clusters (basis usage, behavior, content affinity, etc) with effective messaging and product positioning
  • Run engagement programs to increase product usage and reduce churn
  • Dive deep into campaign performance data to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Drive digital marketing efficiencies and reach through continuous communication testing (a/b), innovation using different platforms and new products/formats, active co-creation and planning with Jio/Google/FB/others as partners

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 7+ years of experience driving growth marketing / product growth / retention marketing in a B2C / consumer tech company
  • Experience working with CRM tools (preferably Clevertap), ad exchanges, agencies
  • MBA from a top tier institution preferred but not necessary
  • Nice to have: passion for music
