ROLE: 

Data touches every piece of Saavn and affects all aspects of business and technology. As a Data Product Manager, you will translate requirements coming from various teams & global projects between data scientists, data engineers, & designers, maintain a roadmap of priorities and communicate progress back to the stakeholders. Candidates must be self-starters with a bias toward action, and should be able break down complex problems into steps that drive product development at a fast pace. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create and prioritize backlog for data products, and deliver POCs, projects etc. successfully.
  • Design KPIs & their visualizations to deliver teams & projects their success metrics which are easy to consume for multiple stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Product, Marketing, Growth, Editorial, AO and Engineering teams to understand the projects to ensure tracking & delivering of all required data.
  • Be the primary point of contact and drive meetings for all analytics use cases.
  • Evangelize the value of data/analytics and help drive a data-informed culture among all the teams.
  • Learn the technical details to optimize the data solutions for timely delivery & cost.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • B.Tech or related technical degree from a top institute is ideal; MBA degree is not mandatory, passion for data is.
  • 2+ Years of experience in Data Analytics.
  • Must have expertise and deep knowledge writing complex queries.
  • Ability to solve broader problem statements to specific ground questions is necessary
  • Experience of working with modern big data analytical software and tools (Hive/Spark/Hadoop, etc.) will be a plus.
  • Expertise in data visualization is a  plus.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both creative and technical feedback to a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Experience in taking direction and input from multiple sources and creating a shared effective solution.
  • Ability to identify, analyze and solve ambiguous problems with attention to detail.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, creative, innovative technology environment with a history of results.
  • Outstanding communication & influencing skills.
