JioSaavn is seeking a Product Manager to join our core Product team. You will support in leading the Activation Pod, a full stack group responsible for all areas of user onboarding, and the journey from download of app, through users’ first few streams and sessions. You will be laser focused on removing barriers and friction, encouraging users to begin listening and creating a delightful experience that not only gets users to start listening, but keeps them coming back. You will work closely with other product managers, as well as engineering, data, and content teams to ensure the best experience for new users, regardless of their location, language, device, or level of tech savvy.
•Constantly analyse and obsess over activation data, deriving clever insights on specific behaviours and trends, and using them to strengthen our onboarding and user experience
•Work closely with our all necessary teams to identify gaps in our early user journey, and how we can better convert users from download to their first stream, and beyond
•Craft and cultivate a culture of rapid experimentation, learn quickly, and constantly iterate
•Continually improve the onboarding process, not just in first session but across several sessions to bring users from novice to fully engaged
•Build and optimize user stories for a variety of user types, across different geographies, handset and platform types, languages, etc
•Work closely with data and business insights teams to identify the true root causes of early user churn
•Question everything and never settle
•B.E. / B.Tech. with hands on software development experience.
•5+ years of overall experience, at least 3+ years as a product manager or lead.
•Experience defining, implementing, and analysing effective product experiments.
•Well-versed in analytics tools, analysing data, and crafting targeted solutions.
•Exceptional communication skills –both written and verbal.
•Extremely well-organized, with great attention to detail.
•Must have managed and lead a team building end-to-end products or features from scratch.
•Strong experience and understanding of agile methodologies, with proficiency in JIRA,Crashlytics, and Firebase.
•Understanding of AI and ML concepts, statistics, and data modelling.
Ideally, you’ll also excel at least a few of the following:
•Data science and complex querying.
•User research and analysis.
•Native mobile client development.
•Front-or back-end development.
•Infrastructure setup and maintenance
•A basic understanding of SQL/No SQL queries
