ROLE:

The Consumer Pay business is a newly formed business within JioSaavn. This is a high-impact position in one of the world’s largest music streaming services and will play a key role in building a consumer-focused brand and communication strategy for our 70+ markets around the world. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with a diverse set of teams like revenue leads, content, product, marketing, finance, etc. The Consumer Pay business is a newly formed business within JioSaavn. This is a high-impact position in one of the world’s largest music streaming services and will play a key role in building a consumer-focused brand and communication strategy for our 70+ markets around the world. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with a diverse set of teams like revenue leads, content, product, marketing, finance, etc. 
 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Help in defining the brand strategy of the subscriptions business — including positioning, architecture, naming, and style guide — and how it’s executed across audiences and channels
  • Work with the marketing team to ensure that the positioning and voice of the brand is consistent across all campaigns and channels
  • Establish a v1 of the consumer insights team to understand who our consumers are, what makes them purchase / not purchase subscriptions; prepare a regular cadence of brand trackers and consumer analysis to disseminate feedback with key stakeholders
  • Develop and manage a year-long calendar of brand touchpoints - bringing together initiatives for our various programs (jiotunes, pro rewards, product launches, etc) into one vision and strategy
  • Work with revenue leads to understand business objectives; translate business objectives into creative briefs in collaboration with external media agencies and internal creative partners ensuring all marketing activity feels local, personal and delivers measurable user growth and/or retention
  • Produce campaign retrospectives working closely with the analytics teams to uncover insights to inform future initiatives and help demonstrate the return on investment

REQUIREMENTS:

  • You have 4+ years of experience working in brand marketing at an FMCG / consumer tech or campaign strategy at a creative agency
  • You’re comfortable developing brand strategy and communication using both quantitative and qualitative insights. You’re motivated by long-term vision and strategy — but sweat the details in execution 
  • This role sits under the business team and not under marketing. You should be comfortable working with, coaching, and providing feedback to cross-functional teams like marketing, designers, copywriters, and agencies
  • Nice to have: a passion for music
