JioSaavn is seeking an experienced, collaborative and enthusiastic person for the position of
Manager-Podcast Partnerships to join our team. The ideal candidate will be an experienced podcast professional with a proven track record for architecting and executing content initiatives and processes to grow listenership, develop content availability and selection, and drive cross-
functional business development for JioSaavn. As a Podcast evangelist, you will be responsible for identifying, onboarding and engaging new podcast partners and creators on JioSaavn. You will directly impact the way that both listeners and creators in India and around the world experience podcasts on JioSaavn.
•Grow relationships with existing and new publishers, podcasters, hosting providers, and other major stakeholders within the podcasting supply chain.
•Build a long term podcast content calendar for JioSaavn.
•Discover standout emerging podcasts, trends and innovations in podcasting to inform
JioSaavn editorial roadmap.
•Articulate our platform and our brand to optimize outreach, seeking opportunities to grow awareness of JioSaavn’s podcast offering.
•Be an expert on explaining the product and value prop to both experienced and emerging podcasters.
•Attract and build partnerships with creators, identifying imaginative ways to use JioSaavn tools to drive engagement with creators on JioSaavn.
•Negotiate deals and contracts to secure creative cross-promotional campaigns with creators that are sustainable and create maximum impact.
•Execute promotional campaigns by coordinating approvals with podcasters, scheduling placements and tracking performance.
•Develop and manage project plans for multiple projects simultaneously keeping all details in line.
•Manage existing podcast partners on platform partner representation, trouble shoot support for
existing content.Work with podcast partners to ensure they are being provided seamless customer experience by maintaining scheduled communications and alignment on
•Work with programming lead to maintain the JioSaavn podcast release calendar, content descriptions and promotional plans.
•Work with Product team to encourage features that improve partnerships and creator tools.
•Liaise with stakeholders on teams including Marketing, Design and PR to execute on sponsorship events that amplify and increase awareness of JioSaavn Podcasts.
•Liaise with Brand solutions/Brand Strategy teams to work towards creating an active revenue stream for podcasts from advertiser/branded revenue.
•Contribute to weekly/monthly reports on content pipeline and project and status.
•Work with the Strategy & Ops team to ensure that overall podcast performance is on track.
•Post Graduate from a premier institute.
•Minimum 6 years and maximum 9 years of experience in content partnership, podcasting, or a creator education role with the ability to manage relationships with content creators
•Proficient knowledge and understanding of the podcasting market, creator ecosystem and audio industry, ideally with focus on editorial, curation, or marketing.
•Extremely passionate and knowledgeable about music industry
•Ability to manage multiple simultaneous deadlines and workstreams to execute high-quality deliverables.Comfort with navigating ambiguity and operating in a fast paced environment where managers wear multiple hats.
•Passion for building and nurturing strong relationships with existing and new partners.
•Ability to work effectively both as an individual and in a team environment
